About Custom Hydraulic Cylinders

Will your hydraulic cylinders be tested before shipping?

Yes, all hydraulic cylinders will be tested before shipping to make sure all is qualified. Substandard cylinders are not allowed.

What is there is a problem of your hydraulic cylinders in application?

First, send us photos or videos that clearly show the faulty part of the hydraulic cylinder. Next, we will review the design drawings to spot any flaws. If the design checks out, we will examine the production records for process errors. Then we will share our findings with you by email or phone and guide you through the repair steps. If needed, we can dispatch a technician to your site. Should none of these solutions resolve the issue, ship the cylinder back to China.

How long is the warranty of your hydraulic cylinders?

The warranty is generally 2 years. For some special hydraulic cylinders, the warranty is 5 years.

Do you provide design service?

JW not only manufactures hydraulic cylinders but also provides free design ideas and solutions.

Is OEM available?

Yes, JW mainly manufactures custom hydraulic cylinders for OEM purpose. Each cylinder to be produced as per your drawing or requirements. So far we have been working with some world famous companies on OEM cylinders or components, like EATON, DANIELI, etc.

About Actuators

What is the type of your actuators?

Pneumatic and hydraulic rotary actuators.

What is the maximum torque of your actuators?

The maximum torque is 250,000 Nm.

How long is the warranty period of your actuators?

Quality guarantee for 5 years. Seals for 2 years.

About Machined Component Parts(Barrel, Piston Rod, Cylinder Head, Piston, etc.)

What is the largest cylinder barrel you can process?

Cylinder barrel bore diameter from 25mm to 1200mm.

What size piston rod you can process?

Diameter from 10mm to 560mm, the maximum length is 16m.

How thick is the chrome plating on rod?

Generally chrome plating thickness on the rod is minimum 0.03mm. Special requiremets to be specified upon request.

What are the main treatment processes to improve the material hardness?

Different treatment processes to increase the hardness of materials are as below:

  • Quenching and tempering.
  • Induction hardened.
  • Nitriding.
  • Carburizing, etc.

About Cold Drawn Tube, Honed Tube and Chrome Plated Rod

What is maximum length of skiving tube and honed tube you can process?

The longest skiving tube and honed tube we can process are respectively 16m and 20m.

How long is the salt spray test on chrome plated rods?

Unless otherwise specified, the salt spray test generally defaults to 24 hours. If you have special requirements, please specify in the order.

What is the OD tolerance, surface roughness and straightness of chrome plated rods?

For chrome plated rod, the tolerance is generally f7 by default, surface roughtness Ra≤0.2, straightness≤0.5/1000mm. If you have special requirements, please specify in the order.

What is the ID tolerance, surface roughness and straightness of honed tubing?

For honed tubing, the ID tolerance is generally H8 by default. Surface roughtness Ra≤0.2, straightness≤0.5/1000mm. If you have special requirements, please specify in the order.

Order Questions

Can I change my order?

As long as the mass production doesn’t start, you can change the size or requirement accordingly.

How long will it take to produce?

Normally it takes 30 days for production. Depends on different products and quantities. The production time will be indicated in offer.

What payment methods can I use?

We accept T/T, L/C.

Shipping Questions

How long will it take to get my goods?

If shipping by air of light goods, normally 4 -5 days you can get it. Heavy goods are always to be shipped by sea, it generally takes around 20 to 30 days to arrive the destination port.

What are the price terms I can choose?

Common terms are EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DDU, DDP.
